Under by about a hundred bucks, lol. But we didn't have a strict budget, more of a number we wanted to try to stay around.

very slightly under...and my parents thought our budget was unreasonable and that we'd blow it out of the water! we were kinda proud

Under! It was more of a range than strict budget anyway, but we came in at the very low end of what we expected to pay. The honeymoon was a separate budget and that was slightly higher than expected but nothing crazy.

A bit over.... but it ended up being okay. We couldn't imagine cutting anything and felt that everything we spend money on was definitely worth it.

My mom swears she added it up and it came in under. I think she got creative with her math.

we had a loose budget, and i'm pretty sure we were over (partly because i was too scared to tally it all).

Significantly under budget! I still can't quite figure out how!

We didn't really have a set budget, we tried to do things economically, but it was def pricier than we intended for it to be!

Way over. BUT our budget was really not set in stone. We had an idea of what we thought it would cost but then when we chose everything realized it was way more. But we could afford it and couldn't imagine cutting anything so we just accepted it.

@edelweiss: ha same. To this day I have no idea exactly how much everything cost (I do have a rough estimate).

Over by less than 1k, so we consider that nothing!
We got much of it back in the form of monetary gifts, not the mention all the other gifts.

Under by $700 due to less than expected turn out (budgeted for 100 guests all along, ended up with 82). But we blew it on the honeymoon extras so I guess technically a wash.

We didn't really have a budget! We just tried to get everything we wanted whilst spending as little as possible! For our honeymoon we tried to stick to about £6K but came in way over budget at about £9K.

We didn't have a real budget, but I knew what we could afford, so I only spent money on things that were truly necessary, and cut corners where I could.

We didn't have a set in stone budget. I think it cost around $4000? We saved a ton of money because I designed the save-the-date/invitation/RSVP suite and didn't use any fancy paper/printing, our church/reception/rehearsal dinner locations were free, we used a family friend for catering, we DIY'd a lot (silk flower bouquets, invites, centerpieces, guest book, ring pillow), and there wasn't any alcohol at our wedding, among other things I can't remember right now.

Well... my parents gave us x amount of dollars and said we can spend it or keep it. So it was under that official budget, and went toward our new house. But it was a tiny bit over the budget I set for myself.
