I gained 50+ lbs during pregnancy, and by 3 mo PP I had 15 to go...well now I'm 4.5 mo PP and I still have that pesky 15 to go. If you were BFing/pumping, did the weight loss ever pick back up? Or do I need to start working for it? Booo.

I couldn't shake the stubborn last few until 9.5 months when I dropped a pump at work, DS was STTN and AF returned, when we weaned just before his first birthday (not intentionally, he just kind of stopped) I was finally able to get really lean. It's like my body was holding onto the extra fluff while nursing.

Mine never picked up. It's all on me for diet/exercise to lose the last pounds. *sigh*

Mine plateaued around 3 months pp, and picked back up at 5 months, but that was also when I went back to eating (mostly) paleo.

Mine never started. I'm still the same weight at 15 weeks pp that I was at 3... Irritating!!

Mine has slowed down a few times....and stalled with about 8 pounds to go. I'm below my pre pregnancy weight now at 6 months though, and have 2 lbs to go to wedding weight.
I still have a tummy though, mainly because I've done nothing but breastfeed to lose the weight (and some walking/hiking, and general clean eating)

@maybebaby: I gained 60, lost 30 by 6 weeks (I really had a TON of swelling/fluid which was only worsened by my need for antibiotics during delivery and the 24 hours of Pitocin. I was still so swollen when I went home! . . . I digress), another 10 by 12 weeks, and then a few between then and now. I still have around 17 to go. : /

@MsLipGloss: Diet and exercise...what's that? Sigh. I still marvel at my body's ability to pack on 40% on my pre-baby weight. I guess I need to be patient and start the slow road to losing it gradually with some hard work.

@maybebaby: yeah, I was 135 pre-pg. (I am 5'7" and some change). I am amazed that I didn't get any stretch marks! but now I just have to do what I know I need to do: eat clean 85% of the time and get back in shape. I used to LOVE workouts, but I am frustrated by my new physical limitations (being out of shape). I am just taking it one day at a time, no guilt, and moving on!
ETA: I just did the math . . . 60 lbs is 45% of my pre-pg weight. *jinkies!*

My weight doesn't plateau per say...nor does it pick-up.
My weight does another funny little thing -_-
It NEVER goes below a certain number. Ever. Ever. Not since I was 16 years old.
I mean, I am very happy with my body, but ever since having a baby, I just want to be maybe 3-5lbs lighter so I can have that slack, but it never happens. I could be an Olympic athlete and I will not go below my number. I used to run marathons in college and couldn't break the # I am at right now.
