Personally I wouldn't. But that's because I don't have the money and when I was pregnant with lo we were saving for when she came. If I did have the money..... then yes! Why not? Go ahead and pamper yourself!

I think $100 seems really reasonable for airbrushing and hair at your home! My airbrushing was $100 at the salon for our wedding, so $100 for both seems like a bargain! You seem very makeup savvy though & you always look fab in your pics, so maybe for you it wouldn't be as important since you're good at it. I suck at prettying myself up, so when thd time comes, I will totally drop $100+ on hair & MU. If your paying for this pics, you want to look your best for them.

@jholler25: I hate doing my own hair too! Makeup I don't mind, but hair is a lot of work! Especially at 5am

@jholler25: seriously do it while you can! I had a total of five minutes to get ready for my lo's newborn shoot, and that was after not sleeping all night.

I say if you can afford it and the pictures will make you feel good then go for it.

@jholler25: oooh and maybe you could plan date night with your DH (if he's home) that night cause you'll be smokin' hott!!

I'd personally do it 100%. But I'm bad at doing my hair and I get it done for so.many.occasions. I'd at least do the hair....

Nowhere near making that decision, but I totally would.
a) I like the feeling of being polished and I feel like I never quite get to the same point when I do it myself
b) once baby is here, there'll be less and less time to pamper yourself - if you can afford to do it now, do something special for yourself!

sounds like a great idea and $100 for both coming to you is even better! they are saints for the 5 am call time too! there is NO way i would be able to do a good job on my hair/makeup at that time.

@jholler25: YEAH! MUA for the shoot, woot, woot! I want to see two things
1. a beautiful maternity photo with awesome make-up
2. a sweaty-faced & super preggo Jen with mascara smears on a float in a river in 90-degreee weather only a few hours later photo

@jholler25: on the way home from our reception in the limo my husband was like "BABE! We haven't even left the wedding yet and your eyelashes are falling off!"
Yeeeeah...damnit. I had to walk through a 5 star hotel in a white gown and lashes that were dangling from my eyes. So, yeah I feel ya;)
