I decided that our kids are going to have a party every year until they turn 18.
DD's 2nd birthday party's in 9 days! I can't believe she's almost 2!

I seriously can't believe she's almost two, too!

Crazy!!! She's growing up way too fast!
We will have birthday parties every year. I never had birthday parties and it made me saaaad. This year we have been invited to so many of Wagon Jr.'s preschool friends' birthday parties and it's been so fun. Wagon Jr. always wants to go to someone's party!

Since we live near family we will always have a family gathering at a minimum, but I don't know about a party every year with friends, others until they really care about who's there.

We have such a huge family and did such a big birthday for his 1st year, I want to just keep big parties for bigger birthdays and smaller ones, like 2, 3, etc. just more immediate family. DH disagrees. We have a month until LO's birthday, so we need to figure it out soon!

We'll probably throw A parties once she's old enough to really enjoy them. Since her birthday is one day after Bonfire Night we have an easy theme.

I'm sure we will do some sort of party until she is too cool for it. I can't imagine her havin a birthday without even a small party.

Absolutely. This year is his "Oh Twoodles" party for his 2nd birthday.

The first party will be big. 2-5 will probably be small family+friends. After 5 they can choose either a party with friends or a sizeable gift.

Sure. I'm wondering why anyone would choose not to. I don't really believe in big, themed parties, but we'll always do something in a park with family and friends. Just a cake and junk food and some fun activities.
