We were Team Green and shared our final two choices. Although, I had an aunt who still insisted on offering suggestions even after we had told her the names which was annoying.
We know it is a girl this time around and have pretty much settled on a name and will share it with Family and Friends but not on FB or anything until she makes her appearance. -
I had honorable intentions of doing this, but then I told everybody and -- literally in some cases -- their mother. I suck at keeping secrets. It's a pretty basic name so I wasn't really worried about anybody hating it.

Definitely. We won't be telling anyone. I got mad at DH for telling his mom one of the names on our short list! (We aren't even pregnant or TTC - this was just dreaming.)

Probably will share it since I think it would be hard to keep it a secret. But I do like the idea of not telling. I haven't talked to DH about it. We aren't discussing names till we know the gender, so if it takes a while to decide on name, might not be that hard to keep in a secret since it won't be very long.

We definitely kept ours a secret. We had too many opinionated people who would want to weigh in as if they had a say! We wanted to make sure our LO's name was chosen by us without any outside influence!

we plan on keeping it a secret. we haven't decided on one and even if we do, we're telling people that we have a couple and we won't decide until we see her. i don't want ANY opinions.

for a girl no...family and friends have always know that if and when we have a girl her name will be Sofia (not sure on how to spell it yet)...we have never really thought of a boys name...but i dont see anything wrong with sharing...i will care two cents if others dont like the name...
