I just moved so I'm unsure where I'm actually registered.
I might stop by the place I voted last year to see if I'm still registered in that city.

There isn't anything on the ballot in the town I live in. We had council elections in October and I voted then.

Yep, voted this morning! We're voting for mayor, school board, selectmen, and also whether to allow Keno games in our city, haha.

Yep! We voted on governor, senator, a few other positions, and public library funding. I was actually most interested in voting for town council - we've got some issues/decisions coming up in our town, and I'd really like the people in charge to be someone who shares my mindset.

@Adira: ha, we're voting on whether or not to allow another casino in our state.
I'll vote after work tonight. School board, expanding medicare/medicaid, school board, some bonds. Important stuff!

Yes, we have a couple of important races. Also the kids want two cool voting stickers, last time only I voted and they had a fight over who gets mine

@BSB: voting on my way home from work. It's a huge election for us--governor, mayor, 3 town council seats, 3 school board seats.
And it's very heated in my town.

It's not a contested race in my city council district but there are important ballot measures. Also, mayor, but not a tight race.

@PawPrints: eeek! That website told me there are no elections, but there is a BIG election in my area today. 7 state constitutional amendments, 7 local bond issues, and a huge county issue that affects school buses. (I voted early - just went to the website for fun)

I just called my Board of Elections to find my polling place (in 2016, I voted early at the main office location) and apparently I live in the part of my city that doesn't get to vote today.

I didn't and don't plan on it. I actually feel pretty bad because I always vote. However, this time the only thing on our ballot is a school levy, and since we are just renting now and are moving in a couple months, I'm not making voting a priority at all.

Yep, already did. It was a big ballot, lots of important positions. I live in pretty densely populated town with lots of hot button issues, a range of demographics, crumbling infrastructure and super high property taxes. So unlike elections in other places I've lived...I feel like my vote actually matters here. (Yes I know it always matters, and I do always vote, but I have a feeling this years will be a close one).

Early voted! Big school bond and a bunch of stupid constitutional amendments. Texas is ridiculous about amending the constitution to do things like give vets tax breaks instead having the leg just pass a law.

and I really wanted to! I had to leave for a doctors appointment before the polling places opened and then I had to go straight to the hospital so I could have my hysteroscopy (which got delayed by over an hour and a half) so by the time we got back to the city we live in it was past the time that polls closed. If my surgery hadn't been delayed we would have made it. Oh well.
