My DD is 3 and we have another arriving any week now. In my car we have a Britax infant seat and a Britax convertible (she's FF). We're looking to get 2 seats for my husband's car, he's never had any. At first I thought we'd get 1 extra infant base and 1 Britax harness (like a Frontier/Pioneer). Well after looking at them we are considering getting 2 Diono Radian RXTs instead since they claim to be only car seat ever needed and fit nicely in cars.
But it seems like in some reviews people don't love the RXT for the bigger kids? If you were getting a car seat for a 3 year old - would you go with the RXT or the Britax Harness to Booster?
The Britax has the click-tight install which is nice, and can fit some extra height (which is good since my 3 year old is 43 inches). But the RXT would fit more easily in car, travels well, and if we had a third (who knows??) would be more usable. (Size limits vary a bit Britax is 100 lb/62 inches I think and RXT is like 120 lb/57 inches...)
