My tests the last few days all have faint or not faint lines long after the window. Some after several hours, some almost a day later. (Don't look at me, I'm hideous.)
Do tests just do this??

I have literally NEVER seen an evap, so for that reason alone, I would say no, not all tests do!

Definitely not all tests. I got faint lines both in and outside the window last cycle and it ended up being a chemical pregnancy (they never got darker and then AF came). How many dpo are you? Have you tried a different brand of test?

Can you post a pic? Do the lines have color? If you're getting consistent lines on Wondfos, I would pick up some FRERs.

Wandfos seem notorious for that. I've never had an FRER with a second line that wasn't real.

@peachykeen: @winniebee: I just got the faintest line of all time within the window... it was less than a two hour hold but I couldn't help myself. I don't think it would even show up in a picture but it DID come up writhing the time frame. Maybe that's something to be optimistic about?

@knittylady: I think so! I have only had one positive pregnancy test in my 29 years. Not that I've been taking them that long lol. But, I have never ever ever had an evap.

With all my pregnancies the first line I saw always looked like an evap line and showed up hours after the window. The first line I ever saw was fished out of the trash the next day, lol.

With this pregnancy, at 9dpo, I was getting tons of evaps. Like five in one day hehe. Got a line within the time frame the next day. I googled my batch number to make sure it wasn't a bad batch.

I once had an evap line on a wondfo, when I looked at it many hours later. But my early positives were very faint... Since they are all the same batch of wondfo tests I'd be worried it was just the batch, but that sounds very hopeful. Did you go buy another brand today??

Nope. When I got negative tests they stayed white.
All my positive wondfos darkened the longer they sat!

@knittylady: I *still* have the positive FRER from my son in the junk drawer, if that makes you feel better about keeping them around to stare at them
9 days is so early!

I've never seen an evap. Any time there been a line (even well outside the window) I've been pregnant.
Which leads me to .. Did you pee on anything this morning?

Btw, what color is the evap? Mine had color. My evap from over two years ago was white and is was not pregnant then.

I have gotten evaps on almost all the wondfos and FRERs I've ever taken, even when I definitely wasn't pregnant.

This morning (10 DPO) with smu! Within two minutes!

Congrats! I've never had a line that wasn't due to pregnancy. Even the ones that showed up way after the time. Never even had a hint of an Evan on wondfo, dollar tree or FRER...
