Has your baby ever vomited (as distinguished from spit up by the horrid and vile stomach acid smell)? Is this a thing?
Is this cause for calling the doctor?

DD did when she was about 3 months old. She caught a stomach bug from daycare and was throwing up bile. It was very sad. We spent 4 hours at the ER just to have them tell us that she should be better in 24 hours.

Mavrick once, Sienna no. (luckily)
Depends on the age. Under 3 months you go to the ER, after you monitor them.

He's 6 months. He's got a bunch of other stuff going on that is all very low-level not-to-worry-about type stuff but less than healthy. Like breathing loudly like snoring. Crying and screaming. Coughing. Low grade fever last night but better with Tylenol and did not return. But the choking, gagging, then puking disgusting smelling (but clear) vomit--that just makes me so sad! If he is coughing still tomorrow I will see if the doctor has any acute care appointments.
The thing is... a few days ago I thought to myself, "Oh no, so and so touched the baby and I hope he doesn't get sick!" and... I can't remember who it was or what they had!
Babyboecksmom: Thanks! I won't go to the ER. Our ER is pretty awful though. I wouldn't go there unless we had to call an ambulance. I went there once when pregnant and waited 5 hours to be seen before we left and went to a different ER!

Yes, when she was about 5 or 6 months old. I think I fed her some bad frozen BM and she threw up on and off for a couple hours. I felt so bad.

My LO is 6 months old. He has vomited every time after he has received a vaccine. I would only go to the hospital if he was vomiting multiple times and you were afraid of dehydration. Once or twice, I would just call doctor.

@junebugmama: I hate the hospital on our insurance so I won't go to the hospital unless something unspeakable happens.
Sorry about the shots. That just makes a sad day for mom even harder!
@mynoahbear: Aww.
