Ha, as a follow up to my last post on this thread I put T in a floral one piece sweatshirt romper and the workers complimented me about how cute she looked. They never say this because she usually wears boys hand me downs.

No b/c I actually don't dress her in super nice clothes since I never know what they get into there!

No, dd has some nice clothes and a lot of average stuff, but her teachers have enough going on to worry about that!

@Youboots, my kids wear almost exclusively hand-me-downs, too, of whatever gender we have in the right size. The only time we've gotten comments for LO1 is when he has on girl hand-me-downs. He had a fuschia hoodie and some jeans with ruffles at the hem that they really liked
