I do not and I ask my LOs to repeat in a more polite tone. A grandma at soccer thought I was being unreasonable for asking my 3 year old to do this. "Oh mom, just let it go."
"Please Get me a wipe Now!!" in a super whiny voice.

DD is 5 and is usually super great about manners but when she is whiny and says "Peas" instead of "please" I make her say the correct word and w/o whining

I remember when J was learning please and thank you, I asked him to ask politely and he said, "Mama, give me my juice. THANK. YOU."
It was hard not to laugh, he was really trying! -
Nope. DD knows her "nice girl manners" and is expected to use them. When she gives a rude please/ thank you, she has to apologize for being rude and then try again until she says it like she means it. I also don't let her use what we call her "whiny behin-ey" voice.
