We air out the house from time to time, but not as regularly as we'd like... probably because of mosquitoes. Also, the way our apartment is designed, there's not easy to get that coveted cross breeze.
That's too bad, because Smokey the cat loves it when the windows are open. And so do I!

Sure! We have screens so the bugs can't get in. Nothing like fresh air.

Yep! Whenever the weather is good, we open up the windows for fresh air! We have screens in all the windows to keep bugs out and the cat in!

We do when it's reasonably warm out. Also for sure when someone's been sick!

As often as we can, but I'm a wimp in the heat and often prefer to have the AC on. All of our windows have screens so bugs aren't an issue.

Unfortunately, no. The opportunity for good fresh air is short here. And it typically coincides with high pollen, which isn't any good for my allergies.

I like to sleep with the window open (no matter the weather outside) but we have screens on our windows.
Right now we are airing it out because I just finished painting the dining room!

We do as often as we can, but as soon as it gets warm here it also gets humid and I need to put the a/c on. I usually open the windows in the morning and close them all up by mid-morning. I hang all our laundry, does that count for a good airing out? ha

I wish we did more. But whenever I try my husband quickly closes them all and turns on the A/C. He grew up without central air so I think now that he has it he abuses the power!

Yes, I love having the windows open. I have really bad allergies but my love for the fresh air coming in outweighs the symptoms so I deal with it.

All the time! Loooove having the fresh air though our house, I think we've had a window open all spring so far even on the 30 degree days!

Every day =) We close and lock everything at night and the first thing we do in the morning is open the house up. I love all the fresh air.

We air out the house, but only if we are home. Thankfully, too, because a cop showed up at my house yesterday to alert us a neighbor's house was broken into and to make sure to keep the house locked up.

Yes we do but we have to watch out because we often have to be strategic about which to open otherwise our house gets filled with dust/sand.

Airing out the house is also kind of necessary because the neighbors in our duplex are heavy smokers. That horrible smoking-cheap-hairy-monkey-butt-cigarettes smell comes through the walls. Bleck!

Spring through Fall our first floor windows are open when we are home. It makes everything feel fresher in the house.

We much prefer fresh air over forced air do whenever it's nice enought we open the windows. But we have screens on all our windows.

I like to open the windows, but not more than halfway. I don't like too much of a breeze. DH, on the other hand, opens the windows so far that I have a hard time reaching up to close them.

Yes, except for hte bedroom at night. I cant' sleep with the windows open due to noise and allergies causing me to sneeze! I love a house that smells of fresh air!

Yes, every day. If the weather is cold, we'll still air out the home but we'll only leave it open for an hour or two. If the weather is nice, we leave it on all day.

Yup, we get great cross ventilation in our house from the front door to the back door. I wouldn't open them if we didn't have screens. I love fresh air!! It's going to be beautiful this weekend so, it's going to be another open window weekend!
