My LO has been spitting up a lot lately & I feel bad to leave her in wet clothes, but sometimes (like now) if she is almost asleep I will just try to get skin dry with a cloth diaper & not change her clothes. I feel a little bad though! I need to remember to keep bibs on her.

I don't always, especially if it's not a lot. If she's sleeping, def not.

If we did, we'd change him every thirty minutes. He is an Olympic spitter. But we try to change him right before he goes to bed, because, for some reason, he doesn't tend to spit up when he's laying down.

It depends on how wet he got and if it's cold...so more changing in the winter than in the summer when I know it will dry quickly.

Not unless it's a pretty big spit-up, especially if she's sleeping or about to sleep. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on one's perspective), her biggest spit-ups tend to land down my cleavage rather than on her -- she has great aim for the spot just past the edge of the burp cloth...

I didn't always, especially if it was small. After several small spit ups I might change, but every time would have been a ridiculous amount of laundry - and a bigger wardrobe.

It depends on how much and how wet. She spit up this morning as I was getting her ready and I was like, "not much....just wiping it down."

My LO spits up a ton, but doesn't tend to when she's lying down in bed. During the day, I always have a bib on her which catches most of the mess, but if it gets on her I usually change her. It's a pain but I feel bad if she's wet. But the A&A bibs have helped a lot because they are big.

I do if LO is wet ...because who wants to be in cold wet clothes? (If it soaked through to her skin...) if it is just a little I could wipe up I don't sweat

It depends on how big the spit-up incident was. Usually it's not huge, but there have been some doozies that required an outfit change for the both of us.

No. My LO's spit up tends to be more chunky than liquid, so I usually just wipe it off and move on.
It's happened though, that we've both required a change of clothes after a really good one.

@Greentea: That's my feeling too, and it usually does soak through if she doesn't have a bib on. But the other night she was almost asleep so I just left her in her wet sleeper... I felt like a bad mommy!

If it is small no. We change her bib if it just got on that.

I tried to keep bibs on him so I could just change the bib. If the spit up smelled bad, I definitely changed him. If it was a tiny bit and didn't smell, I let him be.

When he was little he always has a bib on- we got through like 10 a day! If it got on his clothes- unless it was a lot- we would just leave him!

My LO was not a big spit-upper. I often just wiped away the chunkier grime and let it dry out.
