I don't always tip if there is a high parking fee and if my car is close by!
I paid $35 for parking and my car was maybe 20 feet from the valet stand...no tip!

I still tip. I only do not tip at the gym because I am forced to valet since their parking lot isn't big enough. Plus, I go there so often. Well, used to anyway. Plus, I think my gym membership is a rip off ($150/month for an ok gym).

Always. I'm handing the second most expensive thing I own to an 18 year old man child. I'd like to think my tip will at least make them want to be nice to it.

I've never valet parked my car till I was pregnant, and they fall all over themselves putting my luggage away for me, opening the door, etc...so yes.

I just used a valet lot for the like the 3rd time in my life this weekend.. no, I didnt tip.

Yep. The only places I valet are very nice places. And they're always free valet, so I always tip. I want them to treat my new care nicely.

Yes. I would never dream of not tipping the valet, just like I would never dream of not tipping in a restaurant. If I cant afford the tip at a restaurant, I don't eat out. If I can't afford the tip for the valet, I park elsewhere.
If the valet lot has a fee, they only get a $1 tip. If the valet lot is free, they get $2-$3.
My SO made a living as a valet before he became a programmer, so I know how important tips are to them. -

Yup, I always tip. Like a restaurant tip, I count a valet tip as part of the cost of parking.

La fitness costs us 30 a month and is a block away! I canceled my membership but p goes 3x a week
