DH and I don't. It would actually feel really awkward for me if he sat on the same side as me. But I always notice some couples do. So are you and your DH "same-siders"?

We don't. We like looking at each other when we eat! Plus lO usually sits adjacent to both of us.

Nope, we like looking at each other and talking. Plus I kind of like to spread out when I eat, so I need the room.

In a booth we always sit across from each other. In a square table with seating on each side, we like to sit next to each other.

We don't. It makes having conversations difficult.

When it's just the two of us? No, too hard to look at one another for a conversation. If we're out with other couples, sometimes we will.

We would sometimes before DS was born. Now we usually have him on the end of the table within reach of both of us.
If it's a square table we sit on adjoining sides.

No. Especially now that LO is here, we don't even get to be near each other. We're on either side of her.

We were until LO came along. Only in the booth though. At a table we sit on different sides but not necessarily across.

@lawbee11: Haha definitely doesn't make you a bad wife!! Sometimes it's a little uncomfortable, especially when you just want room. DH just loves it- he thinks it's so weird when I go to sit on the other side lol
