Yes, our names are similar in style - classic older names. My sister's has recently become more popular (Olivia) but mine is still relatively uncommon.

They're not really similar but they do "work" together...my sisters are Christina and Andrea and I'm Danielle. My little brother is Timothy (Timmy) but he's named after my dad so they didn't really consider our names when naming him.

Yes, we all have crunchy, nature names starting with the letter S; people always ask if my parents were hippies.

Yup, we both have korean names, and the first syllable is the same (phonetically) I t hink they mean different things in Chinese/Korean though.

Our names are both fairly Southern, but other than that they aren't similar at all. Hubs' family on the other hand, I fit right in. My mom, me, his mom, him, and his sister all have rhyming middle names (Kay, May, Kaye, Jay, and Faye).

We both have names that start with M and our nicknames are single syllables (Matt and Meg; full names Matthew and Margaret).
My parents' names also start with M. And my maiden name. We used to sign cards "The M&Ms". Cause we're cool.

No. My name is really unique. I'm the odd one out but I am also the only child my mom and dad had together. My stepmom gave my younger brother and sister family names that start with vowels. They go together really well. And my mom gave my younger brothers names that go together too.

@MrsBrewer: did you parents like to monogram things because that would have saved them a ton of money since you all had the same initials.

Stephanie and Emily so sort of since both have the long e sound to the end.

But it's kinda cute though because my brother and sister are twins and they almost have like rhyming names maybe I'm just really cheesy like that though

Our names rhyme, Charlene and Maylene (she was born in May!). My mom initially picked my name to rhyme with my cousins: Aileen, Kaileen & Huilene, haha.

I think I will discontinue this tradition

We're all girls and none of our names end in a Y or can be shortened to a nickname that end in a Y (unless it's a unique nickname).

We have a Joshua, Matthew and Sarah...strong biblical names. My third brother is Sean (not biblical--at least I don't think), but still a fairly traditional Irish name (he and Josh are twins).

My stepmother went a little more off the map with her kids--Steven, Kirk and Amanda. I'm not sure why she liked Steven, but Kirk was named for the Captain, and Amanda was a character in a soap opera she loved while she was pregnant.

His is biblical, mine isn't... But I guess meaning is biblical...
