On your beds?
We never have before, but we switched sides a few weeks ago because we noticed DH's side of our gel mattress was sinking in more than my side. We figured it'd even out this way

We don't. Sometimes I sleep on his side if he isn't home.

Nope- we tried once but my husband got up in the middle of the night and moved me back to my side because he couldn't sleep. I do usually rotate the mattress a few times a year though which helps with wear.

@mrsjyw: Too funny - my husband wishes! I like to sleep on the same side every night, but he would switch it up and take my side if he could (he claims he likes the change of perspective). Our (or rather my) policy is that he gets my side when we are on vacation only, but when we are at home it is everyone on their assigned sides.

haha, nope! BUT we sleep on different sides depending on which bed we're sleeping on. I always sleep on the side closest to the bathroom, so in our guest room, that's one side and in the master, it's the opposite.

haha nope. But we do rotate our mattress on a regular basis to try and alleviate any warping!

Not just for kicks. But I handle MOTN wake ups and my husband handles anything after 6am. So sometimes if she is being sort of fussy (like loud sleeping but not actually waking up) we'll switch sides of the bed so he can be "on duty" to keep an eye on her and I can sleep better.

Yup. Only because DS rolled over to my side and there's literally no room for me to sleep so I jump on DH's side of the bed or in the middle where DS normally sleeps.

Nope. My side is closest to the door, which is best for MOTN wake ups. The other side has dogs on the floor, and it's a pain to walk over them to get out of bed. I don't wanna deal with them.

Not at home, but sometimes at hotels! I always pick a side first, and I don't know why but one side or the other usually "calls" to me. Is that weird or what?!
I can't imagine switching sides at home, I think I'd feel too weird!

@Mamaof2: haha, yeah, I used to always sleep on the side away from the door, like Hubs might protect me or something from an intruder, but now I'm like "I'm going to be peeing in the middle of the night so..."
