We never used to go to bed at the same time, because DH liked to stay up way later than me. Now he works first shift so he has been going to bed with me, but it's taking some getting used to.
Do you and your SO go to bed at the same time?

If he's home then we try to but it doesn't always happen. If it looks like he's going to work all night he goes to bed around 4 or 5. Sometimes I will lay in bed with him and mess around on the iPad or read just so we're together.

Recently yes, but generally no. He usually goes to bed later because he stays up studying.

we usually go to bed together at 10ish every night, but sometimes I get back up because I can't sleep.

Only on the weekends. DH works second shift, so he doesn't get home until 1am or so. I used to stay up and wait for him, but since the baby came, it's too exhausting to do that

More or less but I'm usually the one in bed later though if we're not.

Yes. I even tell him when it's bedtime...if I didn't he'd probably stay up until 5am playing video games on his computer. The half an hour or so of cuddling in bed talking about the best parts of our day (never the bad parts, only the good--I prefer to go to sleep thinking about good things) is really important to both of us. On the rare occasion he goes to bed before me or vice versa we'll always nudge the other one awake to at the very least say goodnight.

I usually try to stay awake with him or fall asleep on the sofa until he's ready to go to bed.

only on the weekends. during the workweek, he gets home later than my bedtime, so i go to bed first. i used to wait up for him at night, but now i can't possibly stay up that late.

Rarely, but we're never far behind each other. During the week he is usually fist to bed since he works early in the AM. On the weekends he is up sometimes until 2 or 3 though...

Every night, but I actually "go to sleep" before he does. I like the TV on to fall asleep to, and he snores. Sooo, he watches a few minutes of TV before I fall asleep, then he turns it off and goes to sleep once I'm out.

I would say 50% of the time we do, DH tends to stay up later and I go to sleep by 10 every night! We get our hour or two of adult time and then I'm ready for bed and he wants to watch Sports Center or play his video games.

I'd say 4/7 nights of the week we do. DH can stay up late and function the next day - I am usually wiped by 10!

Sometimes. Sometimes he is up playing his video game and gets caught up in it. I prefer my sleep over everything else.

Never! I fall asleep so much earlier - but we have different schedules. I have to get up at 5:30am and he doesn't until 8:30!

Nope. He's usually up at least an hour after I go to bed. But he'll often come and "tuck me in" and we'll cuddle a bit before I go to sleep. He's a nigh owl. I'm an early bird.

No way! I get up at 5 and he usually gets up closer to 8. So we tend to go to bed 2-3 hrs apart. Blindfold + earplugs FTW!
