We don't. I'm either packing lunches or catching up on work and lately i've been going to bed 2-3 hours later. I miss saying our good nights in bed!

Nope. DH does shift work so often he's not even home at my bedtime, and even if he's on days we typically don't go at the same time, and he sleeps in the guest room so he can sleep while I'm up with the baby.

Almost always, unless one of us is sick and goes to bed earlier. The 20-30 minutes we spend snuggling and talking in bed is really important to both of us.

Most of the time, unless he's working late or one of us doesn't feel well.

@lovehoneybee: You're making me miss the snuggles!
@Sapphiresun: I have a lot of friends whose husbands are on shift work and they are always sleeping in the guest room.

@Freckles: Well, my body pays for it. D often doesn't get home from work until very late, and I wait up for him. E still wakes up at least once a night, and wakes up much earlier in the morning than my body would like. The trade-off of more time with D over sleep is worth it at the moment, but I worry that as E gets older and needs to get up even earlier (or when I go back to work) I won't be able to sustain it

Only on the weekends. He goes to bed earlier than me on weeknights. But on weekends we'll watch a movie in bed which is nice/

Maybe 1-2 nights a week- most of the time late evening is when I get work done, then there are some nights I crash and he stays up if he doesn't work the next day.

Yes we do (sort of) but he falls asleep the moment his head hits the pillow so I end getting back up to finish household chores. I had really bad insomnia and exhaustion for a while but finally figuring out and getting a good routine going.

@Freckles: Yeah, between my back hurting every time he moved for my last trimester, and now the baby in our room, I think we've slept in the same bed MAYBE 3 times in the last 7 months. Probably something that needs to change soon.

No
He is always working out of town so our good nights are usually done via text. When he gets home I'm usually running out the door to go to work. Once in a blue moon it works out where we both go to bed at the same time.

Nope. He always stays up much later than me! Him coming into the bedroom wakes me up so I always roll over and get a goodnight kiss.
We snuggle before I go to bed! He comes in with me, we talk and snuggle, and then he has some personal time.

I wait for him but he doesn't wait for me. He's been getting up at 330 for the last 4 months for fire academy though so it's understandable. Can't wait til it's over and we can go to bed at the same time again!

Nope he goes to bed before me. I stay up to put the baby to sleep and make his lunch and pump.

No He works nights so he's always asleep early. I go to sleep after he's left for work. Lame. He's supposed to be getting a promotion within the next year, I can't wait!!

About 50% of the time these days, we are both so tired with LO. Even if he plans on staying up he comes in and tucks me in and we have our snuggles then.

Yep. After I put DS to bed we have some time together and usually fall asleep around the same time.

No He doesn't get home from work/class until late each night and by that time I am spent and he still wants to do a few things around the house. Hoping to get back on the same schedule when he is done with school!

Most of the time, unless he stays up to watch sports. I usually read in bed for a while and he comes in before I go to sleep.

Most nights. He has lots of work to do with his private business plus working on his masters so sometimes the only time he can work on it is when LO and I go to bed.

Only if its a sex night
Usually though I go to bed and he stays up and does work

Never--even if it IS a sex night he's a night owl and I get up early with J.
bananas / 9899 posts
Almost never. I like to go to bed what he called "early" (10:30-11:00) and he usually stays up until 1 or so.
