I do almost all of the cooking around here, but on Sunday mornings DH gets up and makes omelets, his specialty. I tend to end up with broken omelets when I try, but he can even do the fancy flip them in the air without using a spatula thing. We took advantage of DS STTN last night to spend some very quality time together last night so we're getting a very late start today...he's making them now!

Like you, I do the lion's share of cooking but every Sunday, the hubs makes a yummy BBQ feast for lunch & dinner. He mixes it up every week....a few weeks ago we did Korean BBQ and last week we had fish and veggies. He said that once our little dude arrives in April, we'll be eating from the grill every day.

Most Sundays we go to church together. We didn't today because I was so exhausted. He always gives me a kiss during the sign of peace part of Mass makes my day!

We used to be pretty good about making a big breaky on sunday morning. Pancakes or waffles, eggs, hashbrowns, beans, fruit. We haven't done it in a long time. It's harder in winter because of my husbands work schedule.
Otherwise we have no weekend traditions lately.

Not really. DH was working every other weekend for a while and then on wknds he was off we were going away.Now he is on weekdays for a while which has been awesome. I want to start a tradition of taping SNL on Saturday night and watching it while we eat breakfast on Sunday:)

Every weekend, w have homemade waffles!
Sundays are usually reserved as our "do-nothing" day. We hardly make plans for Sundays, and stay in our jammies. It's our family time!

No. DH sleeps. I'd love to go out for brunch but we never have. Then later in the day we do chores. Yippie

We always go out to lunch on Saturday and on Sunday we dont like to do much after 5:00 or 6:00 and he often makes a big dinner.

Sunday morning is either pancakes or French toast and sharing the Sunday paper, I go through my coupons, dh reads everything else and baby girl tries desperately to snatch the leftover sections and tear them apart!

We go out to breakfast on either Saturday or Sunday. This week he's also off Monday, so we are doing it then. I cooked thus morning instead.

DH cooks breakfast on weekends (especially Sundays) and we've recently started home made pizza Fridays which I LOVE!!! It's so much more delicious than takeout pizza and I look forward to it all week.

Saturday has become our new "pick up the house day" and Sunday is the day all of our favorite shows come on so we look forward to that

We get take out for dinner Saturday and Sundays. It's my two days off, too, so we make it easy on the weekends for all of us. Lately, our tradition has also involved driving where ever to look at properties for sale. it's fun to just say "hey, lets go look at it" without really considering how far it's going to be. We've explored a lot of areas around our town that we haven't before.

Our only habitual weekend routine is being unbelievably lazy together. I guess that will be changing when LO gets here.
Sometimes we go for brunch, or sometimes we make something special at home (pancakes or eggs-in-a-hat), but then we basically laze around watching movies the rest of the day. We get NOTHING done and really enjoy it.
