We are really, really lucky in this regard. Most of our friends are beloved by both of us. I know this is rare, but it's worked out for us.

Same here! I had a core.group of very.close girlfriends, 6 of us. 4 of us had kids within 6 months of each other last year. The husband's all get along but there's only one couple that we all REALLY love one another. We are the godparents to their kids/vice versa. We are moving within 2 blocks.of them soon! The wife was a bridesmaid, hub a Groomsman and their first son was one of our ring bearers. We are soooooo lucky

DH and I have the same core group of friends. Our bridal party was so much fun because all his groomsmen and all my bridesmaids were already friends too. We all met in college, and hung out together 24/7... this eventually led to us all getting paired off and married. We're all still really close to this day and I really believe we'll all be lifetime friends.

I like all DHs friends and I think DH likes all my friends, or at least he says he does. Couple friends are a bit more tricky, we have some where we have the same close friendship with each half of the couple, but in a lot of cases there's one half of the couple who we're closer to (both of us closer to the same person). Some of that is just who we made friends with first though.

All of our friends are mutual--there aren't any friends that are just mine or just his.

we're friendly with all of each other's friends, and mostly we are really good friends with them too. for example, he and my bff are really tight (and even have hung out without me!), and his bff is like a brother to me now (he refers to me as "one of the guys" now ). we have 2 couples that we're really, really close to--we've gone on joint camping vacations and such. but then there are some groups we don't click as well with--he gets kind of shy around some of my grad school friends (though not all of them--he's tighter with one guy from my program than I am!), and I have to admit I'm really not crazy about some of his friends from high school. but mostly, our friends are mutual.

Most of our friends are our friends from school. He gets along with my friends, but I don't think they'd hang out if I weren't there. I have become good friends with his friend's wives though.

All of our friends are "our" friends. We don't have separate friends
