I don't know how, but my DH and I called each other "Ben". Seriously have no idea where that even came from. But it somehow became a term of endearment for us.

We call each other babe... a lot. We hardly ever use our first names.
He calls me Sporto sometimes and always throws in honey/sweetie/dear. -
I used to call her "honey" or "Bee" until Charlie started calling her honey or bee.
Now I just call her Mommy in front of him. Soooo romantic, no?

We are another "babe" couple. lol
If I call him by his first name instead of babe he will get worried that I'm mad at him lol -
DH calls me 'Boom' and because I had no nickname for him he became 'Boomer'. He says it's because I blow-up the room when I walk in. I'm not sure if it's a compliment or not.

I usually call him "sweetie" and he calls me "darlin'." When we were in high school (and were really cheesy), he used to call me "sweettart." haha.

I used to tease him about being a hairy bear, then Bear turned into my nickname for him. He calls me Bunny, but I don't remember exactly how that came to be. There are a few different reasons in my head that all sound plausible.

All of these nicknames are so cute! We need a better one. "Ben" just doesn't sound that cute.
Once I was at the mall and I yelled out "Ben! Come here!" and my DH didn't hear me. Someone said "Hey Ben, I think your wife is calling you.". LOL. His name is obviously not Ben. I thought that was pretty funny.

We also hardly ever use our names. I call him sexyboots (from the U2 song) most of the time. DH switches it up all the time, right now it's mostly "beautiful".

We call each other baby. When he uses my real name he is either upset or has been calling me and hasn't been able to get my attention.

I used to call the DH 'my pooh bear.' I don't know when that stopped.
