I was just thinking of this last night while I was shopping. I don't think I own any cashmere. I'm a cheapo and don't want to pay for something I might not take care of. I've had a few sweaters that come out of the dryer shrunken. Oops!
Every time, I see cashmere in the store, I do wish I could buy it. It's just so soft!

I have an eight month old that chews on my clothing like a small rodent, a husband that dries everything on high, and a budget that allows only Target clearance rack shopping, so that would be a no.

Yes, but it's because I'm allergic to regular wool. My mom buys me the good stuff, I buy blends. Someone recommended a site that sells affordable cashmere sweaters, I have to find the link.

The only cashmere item in our house is a white cashmere baby blanket with my LO's name embroidered on it. Lovely, but... not our most practical item. #giftsfrompeoplewhohavenevermetababy

I have two items in cashmere. I don't dry any of my clothes, so that was a non-issue.

Yep. I have a "rich" friend who only wears cashmere, and I happily take her hand me downs once she decides something can't be worn again after someone posts a picture of her wearing it on Facebook.
But actually purchased for myself, sadly, no.

I have one sweater that my MIL gave me. I don't really buy expensive clothes for myself so that will probably be it for me and the cashmere for life.

I do, I used to have lots but I stopped wearing it when I moved abroad and refused to pay ridiculous prices for dry cleaning.
I also have a 100% cashmere coat bought for $25 at a vintage shop, best score ever.

I have a lot but haven't bee able to wear it for the past two winters due to pregnancy and a baby that throws food. I have this fabulous cashmere wrap dress that's so warm and cozy. Oh well. Wash and wear only these days.

I have some cashmere sweaters and scarfs purchased years ago when we were a DINKy duo with extra spending money. I haven't bought any in recent years since we are now on a budget....hate being "ballers on a budget"!

I buy my cashmere sweaters on sale when I can, because they don't make me itch like other sweaters do. And btw you can wash cashmere! You should just handwash it gently and dry it flat the same way you should handle your other sweaters.

I only have one sweater I got from uniqlo many years ago. They had a special and it's probably not high quality cashmere.

I just donated my cashmere collection, it was old and too pill-y, few holes. I would like to get replacements but I bought everything before baby was in the budget, so we'll see.

I became mildly obsessed with scarves one year, so I have about 8 or 9 cashmere scarves. I want sweaters, but refuse to buy anything I cant just toss in the washer/dryer.

I received a black cashmere hoodie as a gift about 10 years ago. I loved it! I finally had to throw it out last year because of multiple holes in the sleeves. This year, I used some bday gift certificates and bought a very similar one. I still adore it! Totally worth the $

I have a couple of sweaters that I bought on clearance over the years, but honestly, I just don't like it enough to buy any more. I think most animal fibers just don't work we'll in Florida weather. Plus I don't like caring for it and I hate things that pill. But it sure feels enticing in the store when it's fresh and new and soft.
