I usually ask DH what he wants for meals when going to the store, but if I am making dinner I will usually just make whatever so it is ready when he gets home from work.

Depends on the day, sometimes I will call him and say "I have chicken on the menu, what would you like me to do with it" or I'll just say "we are having X for dinner!" Just depends if I'm feeling nice or not

Just make it. Annoyingly DH likes to ask me what I want him to make. All I want is some food that I didn't have to make or think about!

I menu plan every weekend and ask him at that time if there's anything in particular he'd like during the week ahead. If he says no then I just make whatever I decide on.

I meal plan and I just make it. DH is a pretty easygoing guy though who will eat just about anything and be happy! I used to ask him but id get the "it doesn't matter to me" every time so I stopped

I do and he usually doesn't have an opinion or will request pasts- spaghetti or shrimp scampi. He hates when I ask for his input.
What kills me is he will ask what I made and gets dissappointed. Really!? You had the opportunity to make a request.

We meal plan together and go shopping together on the weekend. I pick what meal we have on what night though.

I ask him every Sunday before I go to the grocery store and he usually says he doesn't know what he is going to want to eat that week. So I end up just picking everything, for the most part.

dh does the majority of the cooking, but he usually asks what I want. we often will decide together after brainstorming about what we have in the fridge

I used to ask, but he would always tell me to make whatever I want. He's not picky. We've been together long enough that I know what his favorites are so I try to make those on a regular basis, along with some of my favorites and some new recipes. DH loves everything so it's pretty easy!

I meal plan and ask what he wants to eat that week. Sometimes he has a couple suggestions, but he usually doesn't care. I run the menu by him, though.

I always ask the hubby if he has special requests but 9 out 10 times, he doesn't and says he'll eat whatever I make. However, sometimes during the week when he asks what's on the menu that night, he'll say he's not feeling it and we'll either go out to eat or he/I'll make something else instead.

I just make it. My sisters MIL hands her husband menu cards every weekend and he picks what he wants for the week. I like that system, but it would require a heck of a lot more organization on my part.

When I'm planning out meals I'll ask for his input and if he has a specific request I'll usually make it but otherwise I make what I feel like and he'll eat whatever's put in front of him.

We meal plan so I ask him what he wants for the week. If I ask him what he wants that day it always ends up being the 1 or 2 meals out of the list that take the absolute longest to prepare... it never fails. I seriously hate asking him. lol

When I meal plan I ask for his input and usually run the list by him to make sure he likes it. He's not picky though - so it's easy.

I only ask if I'm hoping he'll make dinner or to see if he's good with take-out, haha. Otherwise I just make whatever I feel like making and he can deal with it.

A little of both. We try and meal plan together, but then when it comes to cooking time he's at my mercy!

sometimes. other times if i know what i want ill just pick it up, and if he's disappointed, he doesn't show it. i think he's just happy enough to come home to a meal on the table!

Currently, we usually choose what to make together. That will probably change when a LO comes a long and I'm running things at home while he is at work.
