Both times we've been to Disneyland (at 14 and 18 months) I wore LO. We rented a stroller both times but she wasn't having it, and wanted to be worn; which I preferred anyway because I'm not a stroller fan, especially in packed places! She napped on me both times (in the sling).

No way. It's hot enough carrying around my own body, I can't be carrying 20+ lbs of sweaty, sticky toddler too! She does really like to be worn anyway - too restrictive.
But, good luck today! Hope it works out for you.

We didn't when we were at DW last week. It was wayyy too hot, so we put her in a stroller w/a stroller fan or just carried her in our arms instead.

Haven't taken DS to a theme park but when we go to crowded places (e.g. football games, Ikea, etc.), I baby wear him. He always, always, always falls asleep while being worn.

I wore my DS at Disney when he was 15 or so months. He slept great but man, I was dying after a few hours. Best of luck!!

I wore LO at Disneyworld, and pushed him around in the stroller. He doesn't like the stroller for extended periods of time, and he's not walking independently yet, so babywearing is the next best option. Holding him only lasts for <10 minutes because he's getting heavy!!

We took LO to Disneyland at 8 months and I brought the ergo but we didn't use it at all. It was too hot and most of the fun for her on that trip was looking around at the park and characters and the people so I thought she'd enjoy the stroller more. I still wear her for shorter errands at 15 months but she's definitely squirmier and won't fall asleep in there any more. She'd fall asleep up until a little over a year.

I've been thinking about this because we're talking about maybe going to Disney/Universal in the fall. I think we will use the stroller rather than wear him. If he does fall asleep, it will be better to have him in the stroller so that I don't have to take him in/out when I want to ride rides! Plus, we are both hotboxes so wearing him in 80-degree heat just does not sound fun.

I did when he was 7 months and again at 10 months. I wouldn't have done it any other way. He stopped letting me wear him around a year, so we use the stroller now. We do not visit theme parks between the months of May-September, though. Way too hot, so I can't say we would have worn him then.

I did when we went to Disney and it worked out great! We had the stroller with us too- but I could wear LO on most of the rides!

Every time we go and we have a pass. Usually I let him walk everywhere. He will sleep in the carrier if he is really tired.

DS slept in the ergo when we traveled to the Bahamas over Christmas. He turned 1 just before we left!
