@MrBee: I definitely do believe in ghosts! May I ask what the short story was called? I will often read reddit.com/r/nosleep to get my fill of spooky stories. DH is a bit of a wimp when it comes to ghosts and goblins (I'll admit that I used to be braver in my teen years) and I still like a good jump scare.

Why did I read this thread?? I'm so freaked out now. I had one encounter with a ghost a few years ago. I turned on my computer and a face of a little girl appeared for a few seconds. I refused to turn on my computer for weeks. It still freaks me out thinking about it. =\
