Hellobee Boards

I so want to be part of a book club! I am not a big reader but feel like a club would give me more incentive, plus I love hosting small parties like that!

I started one when I lived abroad and made a lot of new friends that way. We took turns picking the book and hosting at our apartments/houses once a month. Our rule was that it had to be a book that no one had read. There were a few that made it into movies so we went to see the movies together, too. And most importantly, there was a lot of alcohol. Everyone always got smashed at book club. That's a fun rule, too.

My book club works the same as krsmall, we rotate who will host, that person picks the book for the month and provides snacks and wine. We sit around and discuss the book briefly but usually end up talking about other things :). It's fun, and I like having other people give me ideas of what to read!

I do! It's made up of several of my very close friends...we call it a wine club where we sometimes talk about books It's fun though, and gives us a set date to hang out with each other each month. We rotate the person who hosts, and that person either cooks or we order take out.
