I always blot. My coworker says thinks the small fibers from the paper towel are more dangerous than the oil!

I used to, in high school and college. Lately, I only do it if the pizza looks excessively oily.

I can't say I've ever eaten a pizza that would've required this sort of thing!

Always! And not just pizza, anything that looks overly greasy will always get blotted by me, ha.

always! and you wipe your mouth with the paper towel so who cares if it touches your food!!
all that oil on top grosses me out!

I usually do if 1) the pizza looks especially greasy or 2) it is homemade pizza and I know the "puddles" are actually from the cheese that I didn't thaw all the way before putting onto the pizza.

Never! DH and I always get all the meats.. Mmmmm oils!

used to all the time; not so much anymore... we switched to a diff pizza place and they don't have overly greasy pizzas so i'm not tempted to do it!

I do quite often. I just think the puddles of oil are gross and I've read it's the easiest 40 calories you can avoid.

Nope. I don't need to see the disgusting napkin covered in oil sitting at my place setting for the rest of the meal. That oil belongs in my belly. LOL

I almost always do, it's mainly a texture/visual thing for me, but then I found this little gem:

20-50 calories per piece? I'll take it!

No. I might let the oil drain off but never blot with a napkin. I agree that the napkins do leave fibers on the pizza and I would rather not ingest those

Nope! If I'm going to splurge and eat something bad, I'm going to enjoy all the grease that comes with it. Yum!

Yes, I also read that it's an easy way to save some calories. And about eating paper towel fibers...that is crazy. I just washed an apple and dried it off with a paper towel. I guess I am eating fibers!

Yes! Any time I see huge puddles on my pizza, I'll blot.... the pizza is fatty enough, I don't need to eat what looks like spoon fulls of oil too.

Never. If it's dripping off I let it drip into the plate, but the pizza places we eat at aren't really that greasy. I gotta say I kind of think the paper towel fibers are gross too! If you dry off an apple I don't think much residue is left over, if any, because it's not soaking wet but grease is hot and sticky!
