haha, i started after L's bath on a cold winter day when i found it chilly in my apt. I also knew some parents used the hair dryer as white noise and i thought "i bet he would like the heat that comes out of this too!" and he did! It was pretty funny the first time I ran the hair dryer over him, he looked so confused but didn't move and just let me do it! Now I do it after almost every diaper change (to keep his bum dry in an effort to prevent diaper rash) and he just relaxes when i do it and i can tell he likes it! Babies are so funny.

So cute! My friends daughter had thick hair so she blow dries it before bed. My LO doesn't really need it but we hang out in the steamy bathroom for a while to stay warm until shes' dry.

We do after every bath... He loves it each night!! It seemed so cold when he was tiny and now its part of the routine. We joke that hell blow dry himself someday.

Ha ha! We haven't but we used it for white noise once...we dry her bum with a cloth after diaper changes, really helps stop rashes.

@T.H.O.U.: lol, i should have clarified. i don;t blow dry his hair, he doesn't really have any! i blow him all over his body and mostly his bum during diaper changes. he loves the hot air on his skin!

Interesting! Maybe I should try that with my LO. She loooves her bath, but hates the cold air when I take her out.

@scg00387: i believe my LO might keep it up on his own too! TBH, when i am blow drying him, i sometimes run it over my skin too when i am cold!

DS has super thick longish hair. I've definitely used the blow dryer if I think we'll be going out, or if he's going to bed, and it's cold.

@PurpleUnicorn: I've never blow dried him before except as entertainment when I am drying my hair (blow it in his face once in a while)! I'm gonna try that diaper rash trick though. He's suffering a case right now for the first time and I've been battling it this week. Been letting him crawl around naked at home. Luckily we have wood floors to clean up the messes he makes.

@swurlygurl: We started putting LO's towel in the dryer during her bath time. And then we pull it out and it's warm and toasty when we wrap her up. It made a big difference for us!!
