I went to home goods today and the tiny chanukah section was 50% kitchen and 50% dog toys and treats. I was hoping to get some chanukah gifts for lo.... but I guess not.
We don't buy our pup gifts. He just tears toys like that up in about two minutes so its a waste of money. My mom and mil will buy him those things though.

We get him a stocking for Christmas morning. We mostly just do it so we can get him a nice new bone to chew on so he'll leave us alone while we're opening presents : )

We do - we buy her (the cat) one big present and a bunch of little presents for both her birthday and Christmas. My aunt and my mom each make our cat a Christmas basket full of toys, treats and other fun things. She's spoiled! After every Christmas I force her to donate a bag full of toys to the homeless kittens at the shelter! ;o

I don't usually but I saw cute pajamas last year so I bought some for him to wear on Xmas day. Maybe I'm nuts?

Um, totally guilty. Last Christmas I bought my dog a sweater and some games to put her food in to keep her busy.

This will be our first Christmas with our furbaby (cat). We plan to get her a little stocking and put canned food and a toy in it. She hates most convention cat toys - the only thing she likes is this wand with ribbons on it, and that is pretty beat up now, so we'll replace that. Other than that, she only ever plays those twist-ties that come on loaves of bread. She's a cheap kitty!

The cats get cat nip toys and the pup gets a rawhide bone. No clothes or things like that though.

@autumnlove: um..... last Christmas my husband, my dog, and I all wore matching pajamas for present opening on Christmas morning. My family thought it was HILARIOUS.

We buy him toys throughout the year so we don't really do something special for the holidays. We do get him a doggie cake for his birthday, but he doesn't seem to be a big fan of them.

We do! He has a stocking. Usually it has treats and bones bc he destroys toys in 5 seconds.

We buy a couple of toys and some treats! Our male dog is in Georgia with my family so we'll probably send a few things. We just got a dog a few weeks ago and will probably do the same for her.

We totally do! He has a stocking and he will eyeball it for days, if he happens to see me put toys/treats in it. He'll just sit in front of it and stare longingly.. so cute.

@kpow: Yeah, I must need kids badly too! I don't even make it all the way to Christmas with my dog's stocking. Somehow I cave and pull something out early. Her first year I made the mistake of wrapping treats and putting them under the tree, and we have a photo of her pulling apart the wrapping herself.
