We don't buy movies often, we did a few years ago to start our collection but since then we have recorded a lot of them on the DVR, so we don't really have the need to buy a copy. If it's an all time favorite I likely will, to have it forever. We do a lot of renting of movies, though!

Kids also watch movies on their kindles but it hurts their neck after awhile -
Most of the Disney ones Ive been getting are the Blue Ray/DVD/Digital combo.

Yes, my DH's favorite store is Best Buy so he takes DD1 there to pick out a DVD every few weeks. We download the digital copy for her iPad then keep the hard copy in the van to put in the DVD player.

No. We lived in a small condo for a few years and decided to go entirely digital to cut down on clutter. We have a few DVDs for movies that can't be bought digitally, but other than that we buy movies to stream on Amazon.
