I like pink and I have two girls but I usually avoid buying the pink option for bigger toys...like the play kitchen and shopping cart. We receive enough pink gifts so I want to mix it up!

We did occasionally when there was only my DD but now we try to get gender neutral since we also have DS. But DD loves pink with a passion so there is still plenty of it! Can't completely deny her..

Only if it's the only option. I do like pink, but I don't like buying pink toys. Maybe so Charlie and Olive can share, and maybe because I want to raise her to be a tomboy!

At first I was really liking pink & different shades of pink but my baby girl turns out to really like her giraffe toys so we are choosing more yellow and orange colors for her.

The only pinks I buy are clothes. I swore never to put DD in pinks but she just looks so darn cute in pink.

DD is still young, but I plan to buy her toys in a rainbow of colors. When I was a child in the early 80s, toys came in all colors--not *just* pink for girls. It's maddening! Even my BARBIE house was orange. I don't think there's anything wrong with pink, but it's the saturation that kills me.

Since I have two boys, it's not very tempting to buy pink. I did find a maclaren double stroller for only $150 at TJ Maxx, but it was hot pink.

Even if my boys had ended up being girls, I'm not a fan of pink, so I would avoid it.

@autumnlove: LOL! Nope, I think it clashes too much with our ginger-ish hair... I think that's why I dislike pink so much, it looks turrrible with my coloring

I try to avoid it if I can. I think about resell value a lot too when buying bigger toys, so I try to go with what's most appealing to a larger crowd.

Hmm.... I guess not really. Most of her "big" toys have been gender neutral. We might be buying her a pink kitchen though. Lol. Oh well. I have no qualms about it either way.

Nope. I have a pink stroller but only because it was the only choice. Other than that, everything is gender neutral. I really am not a fan of all the pink. I like primary colors!

I did when I first started out buying things. Now I don't... especially the bigger items which we'll keep for #2. Clothes I try and get a good mix, but for girls there is just so much pink stuff that I end up getting more than I should.

I try to avoid it. I feel like we have enough pink coming in our future when M is old enough to have an opinion on these things!

All of our gear is gender neutral so I don't mind buying some pink stuff. My MIL wants to buy LO a Radio Flyer trike for Christmas and I asked for it in pink if possible.

I LOVE the pink options, but I'm so cheap. I always think "but what if we have a boy next? I'll have to buy it again!" and that idea scares me. She has a few pink things that we wouldn't pass down, but all of her big items are GN. I was dyyyying to get her the pink rocking horse for Christmas, but I resisted.

No I hate the pink options! They bother me! Why can't girls want the regular toys too? I hate how gendered this stuff can be!

I generally buy neutral but some things we go pink. Not a huge deal to me. I don't think the color pink will define her

@autumnlove: YES. And for the record, I love that ridiculous pink bus you posted.

Usually not because I feel like a lot of people don't like it and we want multiple children and will give our big toys hopefully to family or friends when we're done so I feel like the non-pink option is more likely to be well received. I don't have anything against pink myself but just thinking down the line it's better for us to go non-pink for big stuff.

Never. I don't believe in pink toys. Clothing, sure, we love pink as a color. But I don't buy gendered toys, period.
