We may or may not have our own lego sets that may or may not only be allowed to be played with when asked and not mixed in with any other lego.....
We may or may not refer to ourselves as "Lord Business" from time to time.

Yes!!!! I am dying to buy LO a play kitchen and he's only 7.5 months. I bought him his first Legos for Christmas because DH was all excited about playing Legos when we found out we were pregnant.

For sure! I love LO's kitchen and can't stop buying cute food sets. Can't wait until she's old enough for a big doll house!

There are some super nice blocks we really want to play with! They are crazy expensive though. I also would love to get tegu blocks. Hopefully one day.

Yes! Legos. I actually had my dad bring all of my legos from childhood when he came to visit a few months ago. Every now and then I get sucked in and build stuff for hours after he goes to bed.

@lamariniere: I never had legos as a kid and always wanted some! I should probably get some for LO...

Yes, Lincoln Logs! Also, all her play kitchen equipment. I was telling DH that I wish they made these cool kitchens for adults and he was like 'Ummm... they do... and they even make real food...' Hah!

Oh yes, I get things that I think he would like, but I also like. I was really excited for his play kitchen because I never had one as a kid. And I'm excited to get a dollhouse for our kids one day because I never had one, but always wanted one.

I haven't bought them yet but I want to buy an American Doll for my daughter one day if she is interested because I always wanted one growing up but never had one. That and calico critters.

I half-expected @beehive: to have volunteered me on this thread, with my particular fondness for Brio trains and train sets, which I have successfully passed onto DS.

Yes! I've been making his wish list for Christmas/his birthday and I'm definitely gravitating to all of the cute toys that I think look like fun or that I wouldn't mind leaving laying around my house.

For sure! This is probably why sometimes I'm worse than him wanting stuff lol.

Everything I buy for LO is for me to play with too I think it's good parenting! The more interesting the toys, the easier it is to be naturally and genuinely engaged with lo. Win-win-win!

@swurlygurl: Hahahaha!
I more try to buy things that won't bother me when she's playing over and over. But we do have these blocks with different parts of animals on them to mix and match and she doesn't get it at all and I totally pushed for them!
