DH buys the entire package! Picture day is 2x a year. We get a discount for buying both sets.

Yep, we buy them all (2X a year, too). In-laws and my parents always want them and I like having them.

We don't buy them. They send us the proof with the prices on it and I keep that just for fun. They do them so young that in the first two she has drool all the way down her shirt b/c she was teething
I figured we'll buy them when she's old enough to ask me to and know what she's asking for.

We buy a package every year (usually it's twice a year, actually), and give as gifts to the grandparents. It's like $40; meh, there's plenty of less sentimental stuff I spend $40 on.

Yes, our daycare brings in a great photographer. Her pictures always look great. They were just taken yesterday and proofs were up last night in case we needed a re-take today. We order on line in packages or ala carte. Packages range from $22 - $84. The pictures also stay in the gallery permanently so we can order all of a year at once if we so choose. They do a fall picture, holiday picture, Santa picture and a class picture in the spring. Santa pictures are only on an as wanted basis, they don't do the whole school.

I can't remember the prices, but I usually just get the one that offers 5x7 or 4x6 and a few smaller wallet sized ones. And they show us a proof ahead of time, so if it didn't come out well, then I skip it. I always get the class photo though.

Our school photographer is seriously amazing. We buy a small package for each girl to send a few photos to relatives. I really love that we have them.
