According to Wikipedia, "the 2008–2012 global recession [is] sometimes referred to as the late-2000s recession, Great Recession, the Lesser Depression, or the Long Recession."

I've never heard of any of these names before, except for the Great Recession. But I've only ever seen that name used online - in person, if people say anything at all, they usually just refer to the "Recession,"

Do you call this recession the "Great Recession"? Something else?
