I always call my parents on my birthday. Sometimes I'll send a gift too. 
I was a 9+lb baby and appreciate the fact that my parents brought me into this world, took care of me and love me!

Dh's parents call my parents when it's my birthday, and dh calls them for his birthday...it's a Russian tradition apparently.

I send my mom flowers on my birthday and sometimes I send MIL flowers on DH's b-day.

I definitely plan to now. I already thank her and make it a point to appreciate her more. I never really really took into consideration just how much parents love their babies.

Yep but it's the same day as my moms birthday so I give a gift anyway.

I talk to both of my parents every day so we always talk on my birthday. I never thought to thank my mom on that day (even after giving birth). What a sweet idea!
