Do you all celebrate Valentine's Day? My husband and I have never actually gone out on VDay, we prefer to stay home and cook together. Last year was our first VDay as a married couple, and we tried to make a cheese soufflé which didn't work, and we ended up eating ramen!
Any exciting plans for this year's VDay?

We're not big Vday celebrators. DH's traveling that week so it'll just be me and my LO!

I like to do a little something special, but nothing big. It's too annoying to go out with those crowds. This year my hubby will be recovering from surgery and having to eat bland food... so maybe I'll make him a heart shaped turkey sandwich

We usually do something little. Our first V-day living together I brought home heart shaped pizza and put it in the warming drawer in our oven to keep warm while we waited. Turns out that wasn't a warming drawer, it was a broiler (I'd never seen or heard of anything like that before). Pizza box lit on fire, had to use our fire extinguisher, ruined the pizza...... I'll never live that one down.

we either stay in and make something homemade... (pizza) or we go out the day before or after so we don't hit the big crowds! This is our first year with LO though so we will see!

No, I can't say that we do. We have celebrated a few here and there, but I can remember doing anything for a few years already. Are you going to try the souffle again?

He always brings me flowers, we write each other letters and we cook an elaborate dinner at home. We never go out or buy presents or anything like that.

we usually celebrate with dinner. he's bought me roses and all before, but i always tell him it's a rip-off and not to waste money! they always jack up the prices on v-tine's day. i'd rather have chocolate hehe....
this year, i have a special present for him hehehehe. he's been wanting a giants sweatshirt so i ordered him one that should come in time for superbowl!

We really just use Valentine’s Day as an excuse to go out to a fancy meal (like we need to have an excuse!) ;-p
We don’t celebrate with flowers, chocolate or gifts or any sort. Just dinner out.

I celebrate with my preschool class! Tons of fun!
DH and I usually don't make a huge deal out of it, maybe just go out to dinner. This year though I'm re-ordering his wedding band for him. He lost it on Christmas Eve and we thought that we'd find it by now (it HAS to be in our house somewhere!), but we haven't. So I'm going to surprise him with a new one on Valentine's Day.

He will be bowling with his weekly bowling league and I will be at home around 8pm after working all day lol Not a whole lot of celebrating going on with us this year.
He normally gets me something and I normally make something cute for him. We don't make it a huge deal.
Besides, our youngest birthday is the day before so normally our budget is tapped after paying for bday parties lol

We don't usually go out to eat on Vday as we like to avoid the madness... but DH always buys flowers/choco. Last year - I bought him flowers/choco too! LOL
This year we're going out to a local italian joint that we have a gift cert to... and going to see The Vow if the theater isn't super packed.

My husband is traveling for work that week, so no celebrating for us! We never celebrated it to begin with though :)...I'll probably get him an obnoxious, cheesy gift for when he gets back just because we are big dorks like that

I don't think we have ever gone out on Valentine's Day. We usually stay in. We do exchange little gifts. This year though we are going to Movie Tavern to watch The Phantom Menace and drink margaritas. I'm a huge Star Wars fan.

I will make him a card and he'll get me one. He usually does a little something for me but it's not a big holiday for us. This year, I'm not even going to be home on Valentine's Day. I'll be traveling for work.

We don't usually do anything romantic...but it was a tradition in my house growing up to watch the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show (dorky, but whatevs) so Hubs now watches with me and we get take-out. This year we're going NYC to watch it in person. I'm crazy excited.

We always make dinner at home to avoid all the crowds. We usually eat out a couple days later as a treat. We usually get small gifts for each other, but nothing crazy or large.

We celebrate, but like you just stay home and cook a meal. We alternate the years each of us cooks.

We do celebrate. We usually go out for a nice dinner, although a couple of times we've just gotten dressed up and made a really nice dinner at home.

We do celebrate but nothing over the top. Last year I had cookies sent to his office & he bought me chocolate & flowers Then we went out for a nice dinner. This year I'd like to go on a date without LO...maybe go see The Vow 
& dinner would be nice too. I actually want a photoshop action for my camera, romantic I know
