I don't think I'd wake my baby up to change a poopy diaper. When they wake themselves up then change it! haha. makes sense to me.

Yes, but P is prone to rashes and hates being dirty so she won't sleep soundly if I don't change her.
Still at almost 9 months she poops EVERY morning somewhere from 5-7am. When she does she'll start kicking her legs in her sleep, which is really cute AND wakes me up, so I usually change her. IF she didn't stir I would be none the wiser and wouldn't worry about it. lol

Hehe yea I don't change it if he's asleep. I don't want to wake him. It's happened before that I've put him down asleep and then he pooped. I just pretend I don't hear it.

When she was a newborn I heard her poop but she then fell right asleep before I could get to it, I was exhausted so I just left it and we both got in a good nap

I made the mistake of changing her last night around 4am when I heard her go after a feeding. Should have left her sleeping - she would NOT go back to sleep! Next time I'm letting it go!

Lol, no I leave her, she never cares about being dirty, lol. I use stuff to prevent and treat rashes on her anyway as she is prone to them but it can be hard enough to get her down anyway, there's no way I'm waking little lady up!

I did when she was a newborn, now she really doesn't in her sleep anymore. She did once and it was silent, so I had no idea! I felt so bad when I changed her.
I've been lucky in that she actually would sleep THROUGH me changing her diaper, though.

My LO didn't really poop in his sleep, but I always change poopy diapers as quick as I can otherwise his little tush gets red super fast.

No way I'm waking a sleepy baby to change a diaper. But she has not had a single rash since she's been born. If she was prone to them maybe I would act differently.
