I used to change diapers if there was just a little pee in it. Now I look at the clock first to see if there's a naptime coming up soon, and if so will just change the diaper then. If not, then I consider other variables before breaking out a new diaper.
Neither of our kids had problems with diaper rashes, which would have been a factor in more frequent changes.
Do you change your LO's diaper if there's just a little pee in it?

Not if there is just a little, she has no rash issues so I wait until its "squishy", then change it. So every 3 hours or so during the day, and I don't change it at all during the night anymore, but she does wake up very wet!

Yes, but he gets really crabby if I don't. Except first thing in the morning when he's soaked...weirdly that doesn't bother him.

No, I have always done it according to schedule and she's never had a rash.

Yes, but only because we are potty training and he has told us it is wet. So we want to encourage that. If he doesn't tell us, we don't check anymore.

Yes but she's still a newborn. Once she's a little bigger and we have a better idea of if she's prone to rashes I probably won't.

It depends. LO gets contact rashes pretty easily, so I change it if we're fighting that. Otherwise, I just wait until the next nap time or regular change ( every 2 hours or so).

I change every couple of hours. I never know if there's just a little pee.... She's in cloth so they're very thick and she never complains.

Not always. I usually change her every 3 hours or so during the day.

She used to get really fussy when she was wet so I would then. But now I use that fancy blue stripe on the pampers swaddlers as a guage. If it's just a little spotty, I'll wait it out.

No, though i was agonizing today before her nap. She had a bit of pee, and i wasn't sure whether i should change her diaper. In the end i didn't, because i didn't want her napping for that long anyways.

I change before I feed her so go on schedule rather than content.
