I used to click with both, and I always had a handful of good gfs but always had more fun with guys...but I don't get too friendly with men now.... Don't want to upset the hubs. And anyway, don't really meet men unless it's with my husband. Haven't really met any new women either.

In terms of friendship, I click with women more than I do with men. But when I was working, I preferred working with men as they tended to be more straightforward and less dramatic.

I tend to have more natural flow to conversations with men for some reason. DH doesn't mind.

Men because i can't stand most females. We make things too complicated! Men are so much easier to get along with.

I used to get along with men better, but now I'd say it is equal. I think it's interesting how women tend to answer men when this question is asked. I wonder why that is?

Women. I've always been a girls girl.

Usually women. I have all sisters so that might be why.

I've never really been a girly girl and lots of guy friends but as far as communication goes I've always communicated much better with women.

It's often easier for me to be friends with men. I get so nervous with women, and we can be so catty and judgmental...men are quite straightforward, usually. I definitely find it more difficult to become closer with women.

Men, guess it's the big ole tomboy in me. I do have a couple close girlfriends, but I feel more at ease with the guys.

Through high school and college, I always had an easier time befriending women, but I hung out mainly with DH's almost-all-male crowd in graduate school, and now I'd say it's about equal. My best friend these days is a guy. DH is also equal-opportunity, and probably actually has more female friends than male friends. We're at an age where most of our friends are partnered anyhow, so we end up almost always hanging out with mixed-gender crowds and having both of us be friends with both partners.

I click with both equally. It all comes down to personality with me. If you are catty, man or woman, I will not get along with you. I get along best with people that don't take life too seriously.
