I try really hard not to say anything negative about the hubs. I have one friend who is an unsolicited advice giver and the one time I mentioned something to her about him she took it the wrong way (I didn't think it was a negative at all). I had to listen to her opinion for 30 minutes and then she made a snarky comment to him. It's better to just keep that stuff between the two of us.

I really try hard not to complain to anyone about my husband-especially in regards to any serious issues (which are few and far between anyway). And I try to keep a lid on complaining about the petty stuff too. Keeping our relationship/marriage sacred is very important to us. Of course, like Mr. Bee, my SO is wonderful so there is rarely anything to complain about!

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people use facebook to complain about their SO. That is not the place to air your dirty laundry.

nooo never... but he is awesome (most of the time)! it may also be my personality too... i'm very private and don't vent a lot of things to anyone.

My besties and I vent to each other, but I think it's a general consensus of "men" things that get under our skin sometimes. We are all with/married to great men, but they do have their weak moments and all of us need "girl" time to keep our sanity alive sometimes!

I have 1 really good gf whose husband is JUST LIKE MINE - they were separated at birth, I swear. And the things that annoy me also annoy her, so we will laugh about them together - it's more an "oh, men!" thing than a for real complaining, though.

I do not straight up for real complain about him to anyone, no.

I have a best friend who I vent to and who vents to me. We're both very good about not holding grudges against our friend's significant other. For us, we're so social, we have to have someone to talk to about things. Venting is a way for us to get past issues that tend to not be very big and that if we hold in, would just explode into something it's not.

I NEVER complain to my parents though - they are major grudge-holders and I don't want to give them any fuel to not like my husband.

And for the serious issues, my husband and I work out together - but those are usually pretty calm, deep conversations, so not really something that needs to be vented about. My vents are usually about him leaving his dirty laundry lying around or being moody for no reason - nothing that really matters.

I vent to my two BFFs and that's it. They vent about their hubbies, too. Just typical girl talk.

I try hard not to do this. I don't want him to look bad. Although, when it comes to close friends or family, I do tend to vent.

Only in a joking way, about things that don't really matter, and only in a I'm joking to commiserate way... In seriousness everyone knows I think the world him!

Absolutely not. In fact, I never even act upset or annoyed by him in public even if I am!

No. He really is a superstar partner, and like ChopSuey119 wrote, he is great 99.5% of the time. We work our problems out together, and we deal with family (and other problems) as a united front. Sometimes it takes a lot of patience, but it is always (more than) worth it.

In real life... never. I expressed one frustration here once but I learned my lesson since people didn't really care to sympathize, but instead criticized me!

Not really. My gfs and I def have general vent sessions about "men and their brains." But, I would never talk smack about my husband (who is my best friend) to anyone besides him! LOL

No. I think it's disrespectful to my husband and to our marriage to air my complaints anywhere other than to him. I won't air them to him in public either because I would be devastated if my husband did that to me and it makes it awkward for everyone else around. We have both agreed that we will always handle our differences privately and only speak highly of each other.
