    I'm 32....so I don't consider myself a young mom. But I look young!

In my circle of friends and in certain groupings of people in NYC, I'm not particularly old at 35. I have friends who are about to have second children, but also quite a few who don't have any yet. Honestly, I don't feel old, nor do I think I look old either. I wouldn't consider myself a young mother though.

I consider myself to be a young mom. I had my first at 25, and this I'll be 28 with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Most of our college friends are just now settling down and getting married, so they've got a few years before they'll catch up with us.

I don't consider myself a young mom. I think of myself as a mid-30's mom. I had LO at 32 and hope to have my second one before 35. I don't think that I could have handled having kids in my early 20's, maybe my later 20's. I also didn't marry until I was 29, so we took our time with life events.

I'm the "other" vote. When I had G I was 19, I'm now 28 (almost) & had P last year. Either way yes I'm a young mom, just wasn't sure what age group to pick!

I was 17, 23, and 27 when my children were each born. If we don't have any more kids I will be 45 when I have an empty nest!

Yeah, in the city I had an infant right after turning 28... All the other moms at daycare were 35-40.

But now that we are in semi-suburbia, most moms (at DD's school) are just a few years older than me though. And my friends my age (usually only a year or two older) mostly all have 1-2 babies now. I'm 33 with a 5 yo and a 1.5 yo... I'll still be just under 50 when my youngest is off to college.

I will be 26 when I have my first baby, my husband is 32. I definitely feel like a young mom. I don't think my husband feels like a young dad though, with two sons already! haha. he old.

I fee like I am. I'm 25 and around here that's average to a little young to have kids. I look like on 16 though and get judged a lot.

I'm 27 and feel like a semi-young mom just compared to the other parents at DD's daycare!

If I became pregnant right now I would be 31 when I had my first. I do not think of myself as being a young mom especially considering my MIL had DH at 20!

I was 26 when dd was born now 27. I don't consider myself a young mom, maybe average, but I am the first of my group of close friends to have a baby.

I was 26 when he was born and 27 now, and I feel kind of young. A lot of women in my area wait until 29-30 to have their first child. My DH is an old dad. He is turning 34 next month.

If this baby sticks, I'll be 24 when he/she is born. I consider myself young but it's different. A LOT of girls I graduated high school with have 2 or more kids by now. The fact that I've been married almost 2 years and consider myself to be "stable" is different than most girls my age who are pregnant.

Yep, for having a 2- and 4-year-old at 24, I feel on the young side. Not younger than most moms that share my background, but definitely younger than all of my mommy friends here in ND. Pretty much everyone here has a 4-year degree and doesn't start a family until 24+.

I'll be 28 next month but I don't really consider myself a young or an old mom. My DH is an old dad, though, like @mrskc:'s DH he'll be 34 this year!

    I feel young!
I was one of the first of my friends to have a baby and I was 31 when I had DS (I'll be 33 next week). Lots of my friends had babies in the past year - right after DS was born. But I still have a good amount of friends that haven't had kids yet.

I was 23 when I got married and had just turned 24 when I was pregnant with my LO. Now I'm 26 with an almost 2 year old. None of my friends have kids. I felt young when I was pregnant but now feel a bit older.
