I cried a lot during my maternity leave but I'm back to normal now!

@chopsuey119: not in general like hurt feelings, disagreements, telling DH about work situations, venting, etc. It's actually quite the opposite. I could care less about those things now.
But when it comes to LO, I could cry over everything. I cried when he used the sippy cup for the first time, haha.. sometimes I get teary because I love him so freakin' much!

I'm not pregnant, or have any LO's. But I've been noticing that I'm more emotional lately!! No idea why, it's not like I've switched BC or gone off of it. I cry over everything, especially anything animal related!

I almost cried this morning. Very rare for me, I think I'm just worn down.

I cry when I'm sleep deprived. During my maternity leave, I cried a lot when I had the hormone dumps. Something about nursing and the hormones associated with that make me cry a lot too.

I do, especially since I have a LO -and- I'm pregnant again. Disagreements with my husband, dealing with ILs, anything goes wrong with my son, I'm in tears. I could be emotional before but tears were for anger and frustration, not sadness. Those I kept to myself. Now, it doesn't matter what's going on, drop of the hat I'm likely to cry.

No, I don't think so. I cry if I get really frustrated but I have always done that.

I've always been a crier, but I noticed it takes much less to make me cry now. DH has to monitor the TV because when the ASPCA commercial comes on I start bawling... or coffee commercials, or diaper commercials... I just shouldn't watch TV, it's bad.

Absolutely. Recently I read an article about the new movie Les Miserables and recalled the story line about Fantine and what she goes through for the love of her daughter Cosette and started crying!! I couldnt imagine how sad I would be if I could barely provide for my baby girl and how tough life would be. Sigh... I probably couldnt watch the movie right now. I need tissues just thinking about it.

Yes...definitely cry more often. Especially when I hear stories of couples struggling to have children or going through premature delivery and all the worry that comes with all of that. And the St. Jude's commercials? Forget it...I'm a weeping mess.

I don't think it has changed much. I'm not much of a crier anyway...I do get overwhelmed a bit more though.

@chopsuey119: Modern Family made me bawl this week, though that could be because I was waiting to check into the hospital to start my induction! Since LO was born, I've cried like a zillion times...commercials, songs, books I read to him...every little thing sets me off! Good tears, though.

@chopsuey119: do NOT turn to ABC family right now. A Walk To Remember is on. dammit, why can't I change the channel???

I'm with littlek, I used to only cry in anger or frustration. I knew I was in trouble when, while pregnant, when I cried at the end of the J&J commercial where the baby smiles at the end.
I cried during pregnancy for various reasons, and definitely post partum. I'd take a long bath to think about anything and everything sad and just cry to get it out. There was something so relieving to feel the hot tears streaming down my face. I don't think I had ppd, but baby blues, maybe. I was shocked by how wicked the hormones could be! I'd say that maybe 3 months pp that's finally tapered off.

I've always been a huuuuuuge crier... And it's gotten worse since I had LO.
However, now it's more little cries at random things. A lot of it is happy tears. Before LO id just let things build up and then every 3 weeks or so have a big, long emotional breakdown lol. I haven't done that really since the midpoint of my pregnancy. Weird!

Modern Family makes me cry a lot! All those montages they do at the end... always so cute.
I became more of a crier after we got married... and then even moreso after kids. I just get more and more sentimental I guess!

Yes absolutely. Time will tell whether that is because I'm a mom or because I am perpetually tired lol

Yep. I cry watching commercials now. The best part is I couldn't care less
