baby P got his 6 month shots today and man i was tearing up when they did them. ughhh breaks my heart to see him in pain. the scene basically looked like P is screaming, i'm almost crying with tears in my eyes holding him and my hubby is tearing up to....seriously all three of us looked like hot messes. Seriously, my poor kid, his parents cant even keep it together when he is the one in pain. clearly were pathetic. lol.

I cried for his 2 month shots, and teared up a little bit for his 4 month shots.

Nope, I actually giggled when she got her first shots because she just seemed so ridiculous and two seconds later she was completely fine.

I cried a little at 2 months but that's it. I feel bad, but he never cries for very long!

I didn't cry at her 2 month shots, she only cried for like 20 seconds. But we got her ears pierced this past weekend and I was a HOOTTT mess! She only cried for 10 sec. per ear, but I cried the entire time! But, worth the tears, she's so stinkin cute with those pierced ears!

No x 2. I think the most traumatic time was the newborn blood test where they do a heel prick and then have to get blood in like a million little circles on a card. It felt like an eternity. But their shots have always been fine - they scream, we pick them up, they're ok.

nope, because it literally takes five seconds, and then I pick him up and soothe him. He cries worse (& longer) in his carseat.

I cried during her 2-month. She cries so hard and for so long! Dreading her 4-month on the 30th

I cried during her two month old shots because instead of the combined vaccination she had to get each individual one meaning five shots total in her little legs.
she was happy and smiley and that first prick sent her into hysterics poor baby four months was easier because she got the combined shot so only one in each leg.

Nope, I felt bad for him, but he needs it done to be safe. My job is to keep him safe.
After a few minutes of nursing, it is all forgotten.

@lemondrop: Agreed! It has to be done for his own good.
He's only had 2-month shots so far, but I didn't cry. He was done crying by the time the nurse had the band-aids on.
