DS and I love to go to certain stores the day after holidays and pick up stuff on clearance. Today after I pick him up, we're hitting up some stores to scour the Valentines Day remnants. He likes to get stickers and little toy/trinkets...I like to get candy, decorations for next year and household items.
We do this EVERY holiday.

Always for Christmas and Halloween for decorations. and often for valentines, but that's just bad cause I'm only scouting for candy for myself.

@runnerd: Our #1 score is candy during these raids, lol. Once in a while we find a fun baking kit to do, like after Christmas we found a brownie pop kit.

I'm going to today, because C's birthday will be red & aqua themed... gonna pick up as much decor as I can!

For Christmas mostly. But now that we have more storage space I will start decorating for more holidays.

We got back from our excursion...ended up with cute heart cups for the kitchen, a couple stuffed animals for ds and LO to be, plenty of candy (sigh) and a bunch of little toys, puzzles, pencils and notepads. Spent only $30 for a ton of stuff, so we called it a win.

Going today or tomorrow for candy. I like to try to pick up little things to get ready for the next year.

I usually go for decorations. I didn't go today, I didn't have time and this weekend I won't have time to go either.
My favorite is after Christmas/Chanukah. I got gifts for next year crazy cheap!
