I have tried SO many times to do cloth while we're out of the house but J turns into such a drama queen that I use disposables. For some reason changing her in our car or anywhere else that's not at home turns into such a meltdown...she turns purple from screaming her lungs out. We do workhorses & prefolds, so it's usually a 2 step process. I'm thinking of getting some AIOs to see if she would tolerate that better...guess I'm just not quick enough while we're out of the house. It's embarrassing and I feel terrible when people hear her screaming like I'm hurting her!

We are 100% cloth. The first time I flew cross country I used disposables but hated them so the other 2 cross country tips I've used 100% cloth. I can't imagine using disposables... ever.
I would definitely try a "quicker" diaper.

I use disposables when we are on the go. The convenience is worth it for me. I used cloth FT with my first LO.

We do 100% cloth. We brought disposables on a trip last week and we hated them! We use BumGenius 4.0s and they are no big deal to change when we aren't at home.

We cloth 100%. I never understood disposables being more convenient. Who has time to search for a trash can?

Yes, with AIOs. We sometimes use disposables when we're on a long road trip, but that's it.

We use gdiapers. If we're going out I'll bring a disposable insert with me. If the gpants or inner liner get dirty I just use a disposable diaper.

we cloth and TBH, she ALWAYS cried when we changed her until 3 months, but she would do that with a disposable and then i would have to deal with poop all over the place. so i stuck with it and it was fine!

We use cloth but carry disposables if he needs a change while we are out. I don't want to tie up a diaper by leaving it in my bag but also don't want to forget to pack one. We usually only go out for an hour or two and I change him before we leave so I usually never use it anyways. It works for us!

Cloth only, even on a cross country road trip at 2 months where we washed them in laundry mats. We don't have the same problem with changes though, that sounds rough.

We're like 90% cloth. If we're out of the house for an extended period of time and know for certain diaper changes will happen, we bring cloth. If we're dashing out to the grocery store or a quick errand, the "just in case" diaper in my purse is a disposable. For long trips, we've done both cloth & disposables - it just depends on the type of vacation it is.

The only time we use disposables is when we're traveling. Otherwise, we cloth, even when we're out running errands. We use AIOs, though, so changing is super quick and easy. D used to get really pissed when he got changed, too, so I hear ya - the faster the better!!

After she turned 2 we had to make the switch to sposies.... but before that she was always in cloth unless we were gone for a weekend or longer.
