Sometimes I do them right after dinner, but more often than not I do them the next morning after breakfast. I think because I want to maximize my time in the evenings while LO is asleep.

I always have and always plan to do them first thing in the morning. After dinner I just wanna relax, not clean!

@miss-spunkin: If they're not done right after dinner, I usually do them in the afternoon the next day. I never feel like doing dishes right when I wake up!

We do dishes as soon as we finish eating, every time... so it feels as though we're literally doing dishes all day long. Living in the tropics of Australia, bugs are everywhere and unwashed dishes in the sink are the quickest way to ensure unwelcome visitors, of the creepy crawly variety, make their way into the house. Ugh, I'm so glad we're moving further south in two weeks and will be out of the tropics - not as many bugs to worry about in the more temperate climates!

Depends.. I have a sink full of dirty dishes from yesterday. Will probably wash them when LO naps.

I do dishes all day long too... usually I do the biggest load right after we eat dinner.

We do them right after dinner. Whoever cooks, the other one gets dish duty!

I usually do them while I cook dinner. Then depending on how I feel I either do the rest, after dinner or wait in the morning (if I'm not late)

I'm a evening person but my husband is a morning person.
If I'm too tired in the evening he'll do them in the morning usually.
But I would say 8/10 times they're done in the evening because I HATE dishes in the sink! -
I usually do dishes all day long. Dinner dishes are started while I'm cooking, and are always finished before going to bed. Always.

It just depends on my mood, and if the hubby helps or not. I try to do the dishes as I cook so after we eat, dishes are at a minimum. That way, if they don't get washed, it doesn't look as bad and I just do them in the morning.

I almost always do them after dinner, dishes in the sink make me anxious for some reason! ha so I do them right away. If I leave them I end up getting up from the couch to go do them.

We don't really have a routine. It gets done when it gets done.
