I just booked a cabin for a long weekend (Thurs night - Sunday) in October with some girlfriends. We did it last year and decided we need to make it an annual event. Only a 2 hour drive so we aren't too far away.
Do you ever go away with friends minus DH and LO's?

bffs and i were JUST discussing doing a short wknd somewhere... I'll be visiting some friends in August in their respective cities, but no planned girls' wknds yet! have fun!!!

no, I don't! I have close girl friends, but not really a cohesive group--mostly they aren't really friends with each other because I know them from different stages of my life. I've gone off on weekend trips for bachelorette parties though, does that count?
dh and I have 2 couples that we're friends with that we go away with once a year though! or rather, this year we won't--we usually go on labor day and one of the couples is getting married the weekend after this year! it's a destination wedding though so we are getting away, it just won't be only the 6 of us

Yes! My girlfriends and I are going to Mohegan Sun this weekend! A bunch of us turned 30 this year, so we're going to celebrate! We've also done a weekend at Foxwoods and overnights in Boston without our men. So much fun!!

I have yes. Nothing annual or anything, and I haven't done anything like that since L was born.
I do have a birthday to go to 3 hours from home for one of my BFF's. Another friend and I are driving up and leaving DH with the kids. hehehe.

We have one booked, but it's not til 2016! The international babywearing conference is in Atlanta. I'd like to do something before then, especially if we move!

Only for my bachelorette party. My friends are very spread out across the country now. 
And we all have kids so it makes it harder.

Yes, we haven't in awhile, but we always do girl nights and last year had an adult sleepover This year we've talked about going up to Mall of America for a long weekend of holiday shopping!

I am expecting now, but I plan on doing this. Especially with my Mom (not sure if that counts) we head to the beach a couple times a year just the two of us.

I haven't done one. I would love to with my friends here. We're lucky if we can get together for tea or drinks with crazy schedules. My DH hasn't solo parented before, so it would be nice for him to experience it for himself.
