Nope! Time and place for everything. Heels when I am going to be walking all day, no way!

I try, and like you, I was shocked to see women in heels and no hat at Disney World! I don't care how frumpy I look, if I'm at a theme park, my butt is in sneakers and a hat!

I think so, I mean, if I am going to be on my feet all day, I wear reasonable shoes....doesn't have to be my running shoes.

I don't think you have to sacrifice style to be practical . . . I have certainly worn heels to events where others opted for flats . . . but it's all about personal comfort.

Hell, sometimes I dress incorrectly because I opt for comfort, LOL. Heels at Disneyland baffles me. Holy ow.

@Bookish: Ya, they were constantly adjusting their heels and stopping on the walking paths.
I wore newish Converse to Disney and that sucked for me...so uncomfy! I switched to running shoes for the zoo.

Absolutely. I think it's possible to look cute and wear appropriate clothing for the situation.

Sometimes! But other times I wear enormous heels to theme parks or drive in platform wedges!!
