DH and I are planning a day date on Sunday to celebrate our anniversary. Usually we go to a casual restaurant and old crappy movie theater but we are going to a really nice shopping area that requires more than jeans and a sweatshirt 
I'll have to come up with something nice to wear and I realized how infrequently I dress up outside of work!
Do you dress up for dates? What kinds of outfits do you wear?

Not for movie nts but if we do a show or fancy restaurant I wear a season appropriiate dress + heels/boots

@mrsjyw: tights w/the dress? I have a few sweater dresses but I never feel like they look 'right' without tights but I have a fear of tucking the dress into my tights and looking like a turd bucket in public.

I like to dress up in general - so yes! Gives me an excuse to wear something a bit fancy since I SAH. But if it was to the movies or something I'd prob just do nice jeans, etc.

Yes but I SAH so I take any opportunity I can get to wear something nicer than usual. Recently I've been into tights with a long top or a sweater dress.

We are going to a movie but the area we will be in is really nice (think: Tiffany's, Louis V, etc) rather than a regular mall...a sweater dress is DEF dressed up for me, esp on a Sunday. Usually I'm braless all day on Sunday hahahaha
